Samsung & iPhone still battling it out for Market Share

The flagship products of companies like Samsung and Apple are remarkable, but to target different elements of the market, these companies release the “variants” of the main product. These products are used as profit strategies. Most of the times the variant product just provides a larger screen and eats up a large chunk of your bank account.

These companies make quality products for power users. They sell the same phones with a little difference in specs and repackage them with other names for more profits or market share. But it is different with Samsung Galaxy s10+. It has taken the smartphones to a whole other level with 1tb ROM and 12gb RAM. It’s a palm sized minicomputer in your pocket. It covers the downside of Samsung s10 and is a perfect fit for corporate sectors. Samsung also launched Samsung s10e which is cheaper than Samsung s10. It has almost the same specification and was touted to be perfect for budget phones but the verdict of consumers suggests otherwise.

iPhoneXR is a phone which stands out from almost every Apple phones due to its A12 bionic chip, higher battery life than iPhoneX, better in every aspect and is cheaper. It’s a clear winner between iPhone X and iPhone XR. The iPhoneXS is nothing but a profit strategy as mentioned before. It is repackaged and sold at an outrageous price.

In the end, it all comes down to market demand. Consumers will always want more and hence the companies will keep introducing technologies and variants but it is up to us to see which technology is genuine and which is repackaged with a different name.
